At Best Choice Driving School, our goal is to provide each and every one of our students with the best learning experience that they won’t get anywhere else, leading to safer driving on the road. Students can apply for any one of our outstanding course packages and expect to receive only the best lessons. We want to make sure that students feel comfortable while taking lessons taught by only the highest qualified instructors.

New Digital Learning:

Digital Classroom eLearning Course 20 Hours of Online, 10 Hours of Homelink (Homework) PLUS 10 hours in car lessons.

Best Choice Driving School is a MTO-Approved BDE Course Provider by completing this course you are entitled to certification by the Ministry of Transportation thereby reducing your wait time to obtain your G2 by 4 months as well as making you eligible for potential insurance discounts.

Frequently Asked Questions

Our full course package includes 20 hours of quality in-class or digital instruction followed by 10 hours of private in-car instruction and 10 hours of homelink program.

You must complete the course within one (1) year of your starting date.

At this time we only accept E-Transfer, Cash or Cheque (No Debit, Visa or MasterCard)

You have the option of making your payment in two installments. The first half during your first in-class session or upon enrolling in the E-Learning Course, and the second half before beginning your in-car lessons.

No, we allow you to begin doing your in-car training during or after your in-class training. As long as you provide a copy of your driver’s licence and your proof of complete course payment we will provide you with the contact information of your in-car instructor to begin booking your individual private lessons.

The normal minimum wait time is 1 year after obtaining you G1 licence. With the completion of our full course however, you are edible to go for your road test after a reduced minimum wait time of 8 months.

We serve all of the Durham Region, but driving lessons and pick-ups must occur within one of the following areas:

Pickering
Ajax
Whitby
Oshawa
Courtice
Bowmanville

Our dual brake instructor cars are available to use for your road test at a cost of $100 for the G2 Test and $110 for the G Test.
